HEALTH PROTECTION SERVICE

The Health Protection Service (HPS) within the ACT HEALTH DIRECTORATE manages risks and implements strategies regarding the prevention of, and timely response to public health events.  Its responsibilities include Environmental Health, Communicable Disease Control, Radiation Safety, Pharmaceutical Services and the ACT Government Analytical Laboratory.
